21 Aug 2008 Our Current Policies Inn the Woods Policies Inn the Woods is a Christian based, family oriented establishment, therefore, we forbid the use of all non prescription drugs and alcohol products at our facility. Cursing and the use of foul language is also prohibited on the grounds. Anyone caught engaging in any form of these activities will be promptly asked to leave the ground and will forfeit any monies paid and no refunds will be available. Check in times: Maple Forest Lodge – Check in is anytime after 4pm and check out is at 11am. Pioneer cabins, campsites and Bed & Breakfast rooms – Check in is anytime after 3pm and check out is at 1pm. Late check-ins:If you arrive after office hours, we will run the balance of your reservation on your card on file and will leave your invoice, grounds map w/ directions to your reservation, and a key if applicable, on the office door. Firewood is around front under the carport. Please pre-pay for firewood if you are going to be checking in late. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled 30 days or more before reservation time: 70% of reservation total refunded. If cancelled 14-29 days before reservation time: 50% of reservation total refunded. If cancelled 3-13 days before reservation time: 30% of reservation total refunded. If cancelled within 72 hrs of reservation time: no refunds are given. Sorry, no exceptions. A $25.00 reservation fee may also be charged to reservations that are cancelled or restructured. Quiet time is from 10pm until 8am each day. No generators can be used during quiet times and all ATV’s and loud vehicles are asked to be parked for the night. Motorized Vehicle Policy: (includes ATV’s) – 1. Must be a registered guest of Inn the Woods and have a pass on file with us. 2. All ATV’s must trailer over to Wayne Nat’l Forest unless an Inn the Woods pass is on file with Inn the Woods. (This has nothing to do with the Wayne Nat’l Passes). An Inn the Woods ATV pass will allow you to camp only on certain sites (inquire at office) and the only way you will be able to ride on the camp property will be by the the marked trails only. No ATV's are allowed beyond certain points. This is to keep the main campground quiet and to respect the other guests down below. Please call for more info. 3. Absolutely no dirt bikes of any kind are allowed to be used on or at Inn the Woods property. In order to go to Wayne Nat’l, they must trailer over to the trailhead. 4. If you have been given a pass to ride your ATV at Inn the Woods, you do so at your own risk. Rain and use of trails can create hazardous conditions and Inn the Woods will not be responsible for any accidents of any kind on their property. 5. Speeds are not to exceed 10 mph at any time on Inn the Woods grounds. 6. We do not endorse anyone using our property as a means of gaining entry to Wayne National Forest and will not be held liable for any fines or other situations that arise due to such activity. Swimming Pool/Fishing Pond/ Sports Activities: 1. There is no lifeguard on duty at pond or pool therefore you agree that you and the party with you will be swimming/boating/fishing at your own risk. 2. Persons under 12 or persons not knowing how to swim must be accompanied by an adult from their group. 3. No pets in pool area. 4. While at pool: No swimming alone, no running, diving, rough housing or unnecessary loud noise. 5. All smoking, food & drink must be done in eating area of pool. 6. Life jackets must be worn when riding paddle boat or canoe and are located at office 7. No swimming or wading in the pond. Firewood: No foreign firewood may be brought into the grounds due to the emerald ash boring insect. This policy is in agreement with the request made by the Ohio Dept of Agriculture. Firewood may be purchased at the camp store. We prohibit the moving of firewood from Campground Woods/Forest.
